If youíre like most people†youíve got someone on your gift list†that can be tough to shop for. It†could be because theyíve already†got all the latest gadgets or maybe†itís because youíre just out of ideas.
The great thing about puzzles†is they always fit. Weíve got every†style of art imaginable, something†for every skill level.†Whether youíre†introducing a young†child to the world of†puzzling or choosing†something for your†great grandmother,†we have just what they need.
You Did This For Me?
Never underestimate the†power of making someone feel†special. Who†wouldnít be thrilled†to see the special†pieces you chose to†have cut into their†puzzle? A boy with a†soccer ball or a girl†on a pony. A woman with a trowel†or a man with golf clubs. Weíll cut†a bride and groom for the lucky†couple or a person in a cap and†gown for the graduate. No matter†the recipient or occasion, we can†help you create the perfect gift that†will be enjoyed for years to come.
Everybody brings a bottle of†wine to the neighborís house when†invited for dinner. How†many business card holders†does your boss really need?†Do you honestly think the†friends who hosted you at†their lake house really want†another dust collector?! Donít†be like everyone else. Surprise your†friends and boss with their very†own Stave Puzzle. Youíll be the first†in the office to get promoted and†youíll be receiving more invitations†than you can handle. I promise.
Puzzling: It’s Good for Everyone!
Did you know we offer Kid Kut puzzles? If you have†a youngster whoís not quite ready for our regular†piece size of 2 pieces per square inch, weíll cut larger†pieces for them. Give us a call for piece size options†and pricing. Theyíre great for the older generation,†too.
Feel like a trip to the city but donít want to leave the†country? Give Central Park Sunday a try. Youíll enjoy†the hustle and bustle without ever leaving home!
We got quite a laugh the other day when H.S. of Waltham, MA., called with a request. ìCan you tell me†what the names are of the four puzzles I bought last November?î It seems that when he received the†Christmas gifts he tucked them away to put under the tree the following month. And then he promptly†forgot about them! The puzzles were discovered just the other day at the top of a closet, nicely wrapped and†awaiting their debut. Hereís where it gets funny. Mrs. S. wonít let him open the puzzles. She says heís got to†save them for this Christmas! Not being totally sure what he had ordered, he gave us a call so he didnít†accidently order the same things this year. I told Mr. S that I wouldnít want to live at his house. It would†drive me crazy knowing there were gifts tucked away, just waiting to be opened. He said he was going to†start working on that. After all, Fatherís day is coming right up! The moral of the story? Open your puzzles†up as soon as you get them!!!
While Paula was taking down a holiday wreath right outside our front door she discovered that some Robin’s had built a nest and laid 5-6 eggs. So the wreath went back up on the wall and we will have some baby birds in about 15 days!
Hey Everyone, Happy New Year! We survived the holiday season in great shape (all fingers here and accounted for) and we’re ready for whatever 2010 has in store.
Just before we left the shop on the 23rd to head over to our holiday luncheon, a delicious treat was delivered to Stave. Cheryl Johnson, Stave artist from Maine, cut and baked a holiday cookie for us! Isn’t she the best? She always whips out something spectacular and we’re thoroughly spoiled. We love her! Watch for Cheryl’s new Alice in Wonderland puzzle series, coming soon!
Mary Ann from CA comes through each Holiday season with boxes of Sees chocolates and this huge cake… what’s it called? hmmmm, Pannetone? Yes, I think that’s it…. it’s DELICIOUS!
