More on Pitcher Inn Party
The Pitcher Inn Puzzle Party was a big success. Can you see me there being the Chief Tormentor going around the room teasing everyone?
The inn was full of willing puzzlers, 9 rooms and 2 suites. And the weather was perfect on Saturday. Totally pouring rain… I mean buckets. So everyone was trapped inside puzzling.
Paula and Jennifer had driven up on Friday afternoon (we are 1.5 hours away) and they set everything up. Lots and lots of puzzles
. I arrived Saturday morning in the rain and quickly joined everyone. I actually sat down and worked on a number of Traditional puzzles and had a blast. I don’t get a chance to do this type of puzzling very often so I got a taste of my own medicine as I wrestled with split corners, whammy edges and color-line cutting.. argh! It was fun.
Paula was the ring-master organizing everything and everyone. She played some nifty games and gave away lots of prize.
PS: Lucky You!! Just for reading my blog I’m going to let you take an additional 10% off any order IF you place your order by Monday, November 14. HAPPY PUZZLING!

Puzzle Party at The Pitcher Inn
Earlier this year the Pitcher Inn near the Sugarbush ski resort in Warren, Vermont purchased some Stave puzzles to have available for their guests. The puzzles became an immediate hit and the Pitcher Inn asked us to host a puzzle party in late October. The inn is a member of the Relais and Chateau luxury hotel group with 9 rooms and 2 suites, all fabulous.
Both Stave and the Pitcher Inn promoted the Puzzle Party a few weeks ago and we instantly sold out! Right now Paula, our marketing director and party planner, is madly running around getting everything ready for her tomorrow departure. I will be going up Saturday morning bringing with me some of my new designs to test out on the party-goers. Next week I’ll have more on how things went…. stay tuned….
